For the last 15 years my brother Terry has led a ministry in Waco Texas called Pure Freedom Ministries, helping men to overcome their addictions to internet pornography. Every second 28,252 people are looking at pornography on the internet. Every second $89,000 is being spent downloading pornography on the internet. Fifty percent of men are addicted to pornography. That’s one out of every two. If we are honest with our selves you know someone taken captive by pornography who needs to be set free.

Pornography addiction like any other addiction cannot be overcome by will power. Jesus said in Mark 14:37 "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Have you ever started a new healthy habit or broken a bad habit only, in a few weeks, to be back in the same position?

The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 7:15 “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do."

Can you relate to this? He's saying all the things I don't want to do I end up doing and all the things I do want to do I end up not doing. I want to do what's right, but I don't. I don't want to do what's bad, but I do.

2 Peter 2:19. "They are slaves of destructive habits. For a man is a slave of anything that has conquered him."

These days addictive behavior runs rampant. Americans are addicted to drugs, alcohol, food, cigarettes, exercise, relationships, sex, shopping, work, video games even social media.
