You are Christ’s Ambassador

We are therefore Christ's Ambassadors as though God were making his appeal through us. 2 Corinthians 5:20   

If you are a Christian, the Bible says you are Christ’s ambassador. An ambassador is the highest ranking diplomat sent as a representative from one country to another.  

For example, if I became the Ambassador from the United States to Armenia (my ancestor’s nation of origin), Armenia would not be my home, but I would be the highest ranking diplomat sent to represent my home government to that country.  The same is true for you. The Bible says that you are an alien here, this isn't your home. If you're a Christian understand who are you; you are a citizen of heaven, an alien to this planet but one who is sent to represent the King who sent you. You represent the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords as His ambassador.
